In the middle of the 19th century during excavations in the Valley of Kings an extraordinary piece of jewelry was discovered: In the tomb of the Egyptian priest Jua a ring was found, which was made of Aswan sandstone and showed a pattern of 6 squares, 3 lines and 2 equilateral triangles. Old legends are known that tell how once the inhabitants of Atlantis visited the Egyptians during the second dynasty and the reign of pharaoh Senedj and trained the Egyptian priests. The French archeologist De Bélizal dated the ring to be about 5000 years old and thought that it was made by the inhabitants of Atlantis and later on given to the priest Jua.
The ring shows fascinating properties and like the Egyptian pyramids seems to be able to focus cosmic energies thereby forming a protective shield made of positive waves which defends against dangers and negative things. A bit later the French investigator Roger de Lafforest wrote in his book "Ces maisons qui tuent" that the ring protects from terrestrial radiation and negative energies and he also consulted some people who wore this piece of jewelry and said that it had positive effects on the subconscious and told about financial success and luck at play and in love.
Tests showed that the properties of the ring were not dependent on the used materials and it also was not necessary to charge the piece of jewelry with magnetic or psychic power in order to activate it. Nowadays therefore also pendants and ear studs with the same pattern are manufactured according to the properties of this ring.
This set contains a small Atlantis pendant which is designed to be worn by women and two fitting ear studs. It is often seen that during the cause of time these pieces of jewelry adjust to the frequencies of their wearer and it is therefore suggested not to lend them or give them away after somebody has already used them. A main focus of our jewelry collections are magic symbols which are made according to historical artwork. Although a lot of people (like us) appreciate the beauty of the different designs and used materials, only few think about the deeper symbolism of these pieces of jewelry. In our modern world we see so a many different beautiful and decorative items that we usually only enjoy their beauty without considering the deeper meaning or the origin of the used motives and without knowing for what reason these items were formerly used. In our online shop we want to give answers to these questions by offering accurate background knowledge and additional information about every piece of jewelry in our collection.
 
Jewelry always had various functions which changed during the course of time: Because of the precious materials that were often used for its design it often was a valuable asset and sometime was even used as a currency. But especially in ancient cultures the spiritual meaning of a piece of jewelry was always important and the different motifs were symbols for the affiliation of its wearer to and his status in a social group. Furthermore jewelry can also serve a practical purpose like this is the case with safety pins, belt buckles and brooches.
 
On account of these many different purposes the meaning of single pieces of jewelry can be very different and depends on the belief and the point of view of the respective manufacturer. In some cultures, e.g., bracelets were used as wedding jewelry, like the wedding rings of today, in other societies necklaces served the same purpose. The symbolic meaning of a piece of jewelry often cannot only be found in the piece itself, but also in its decorations or the used materials. In some cultures it is usual to give pieces of jewelry as a gift at certain important times in life which should emphasize the symbolic meaning of these events with the help of their decorations. These pieces were then often worn as amulets or talismans and were believed to protect and support its wearer during this new situation in life.
 
Besides the various symbols and designs different cultures use for their pieces of jewelry also a variety of materials are deployed in jewelry production. At the beginning of mankind primarily pearls made of wood and bones and shells were crafted to pendants, since these rather soft materials could easily be processed and were readily available. Later on especially precious metals like gold and silver and various gems were used for valuable jewelry. Today the selection of materials available for the production of jewelry is especially large and various.
