This chain is made of Baltic amber. Amber is only a bit heavier than water and therefore rises up from the bottom of the sea during storms and is then deposited on the shore - the biggest places of discovery are therefore at the shores of the Baltic sea. Amber is easily inflammable and burns with a smell of incense. Its color ranges from light yellow to almost black and it can be transparent or opaque.
