This bracelet is hand-made from Baltic natural amber and all pieces are threaded on elastic band thus fitting every wrist. This piece of jewelry is made of alternating honey- and mahagoni-colored pieces of amber - the dark amber discs used for this bracelet are hereby displaying a very interesting contrast to the clearer color the remaining design shows.

This bracelet is made of Baltic amber. Amber is only a bit heavier than water and therefore rises up from the bottom of the sea during storms and is then deposited on the shore - the biggest places of discovery are therefore at the shores of the Baltic sea. Amber is easily inflammable and burns with a smell of incense. Its color ranges from light yellow to almost black and it can be transparent or opaque. Amber is a fossil hardened resin of conifers that grew in the cretaceous age (140-66 million years) or the tertiary age (66-1,7 million years).
