This necklace is made of Baltic amber. Amber is only a bit heavier than water and therefore rises up from the bottom of the sea during storms and is then deposited on the shore - the biggest places of discovery are therefore at the shores of the Baltic sea. Amber is easily inflammable and burns with a smell of incense. Its color ranges from light yellow to almost black and it can be transparent or opaque. Amber is a fossil hardened resin of conifers that grew in the cretaceous age (140-66 million years) or the tertiary age (66-1,7 million years).

A main focus of our jewelry collections are magic symbols which are made according to historical artwork. Since the beginning of mankind jewelry served several different purposes.
