The Baroque gems of this chain have been alternately threaded in the colors of honey and cognac, and each single gem has been carefully selected by hand to arrange a growing size from the end to the middle of the chain. This chain therefore has been designed especially elaborately and like all Baroque chains consists of slightly rounded amber gems which are apart from that left totally natural.

This chain is made of Baltic amber. Amber is only a bit heavier than water and therefore rises up from the bottom of the sea during storms and is then deposited on the shore - the biggest places of discovery are therefore at the shores of the Baltic sea. Amber is easily inflammable and burns with a smell of incense. Its color ranges from light yellow to almost black and it can be transparent or opaque. Amber is a fossil hardened resin of conifers that grew in the cretaceous age (140-66 million years) or the tertiary age (66-1,7 million years).
