This set contains a Zotz pendant and a diadem showing this motif in its center: The high-quality glass crystals of the diadem are available in the combinations of black drops with a red crystal underneath the bat (as shown here) and vice versa (red drops with black crystal) and the diadem is closed with an adjustable chain in the back thus fitting every head. Zotz prefers to be concealed in the shadows of the darkness, thereby seeing everything and according to old belief is able to detect hidden dangers - he is the Vampire God of the Maya and the pieces of jewelry contained in this set show him while he silently glides through the dim nightfall on his search for blood.

The pendant contained in this set is made of pewter embellished with silver and one glass crystal. Pewter is a shiny, soft metal which is very malleable and has a good tarnish resistance. Artists and craftsmen used pewter quite early (dinnerware, sculptures, household articles, pewter figures, jewelry) and hence pewter jewelry has a long tradition. This pendant has been enhanced by adding a silver coating over the pewter core and was embellished with one prominent glass crystal.
The diadem is made of silver-colored tombac embellished with one high quality glass stone and furthermore carries glass beads. Tombac is an especially precious alloy made of copper and zinc with a percentage of copper of at least 70% - this makes it a very durable and beautiful kind of brass. It is used as an alternative to silver and gold when manufacturing jewelry and watches. The name probably is derived from the malaysian word "tumbago" meaning copper. This diadem with its remarkable design furthermore was embellished with one high quality glass stone and carries sparkling glass beads.
