This set contains a rose cross pendant and a diadem showing this motif in its center - the diadem is closed with an adjustable chain in the back thus fitting every head. The pendant contained in this set is made of pewter and has been enhanced by adding a silver coating over the pewter core and embellishing details of the design with enamel. Pewter is a shiny, soft metal which is very malleable and has a good tarnish resistance. Enamel is a decorative technique in which a glass "paste" is applied to the surface of a metal.
