The name triquetra is Latin and simply means triangle. This symbol is related to the threefold divided triskelion of the Druids and has been used quite often in early Christian Ireland when the resident Druids became Christian monks. Just like the triskelion symbolizes the Threefold Celtic Goddess, the triquetra stands for the Holy Trinity of the Christian god and is said to aid you in realizing your dreams.
