The term talisman originates from the ancient Greek word teleo which means "to initiate" or "to magically charge". A Tetragrammaton was a very special talisman during the Middle Ages which displayed the secret name of God in a symbolic way. The pendant holds the magic sign of a pentagram in which the different astrological symbols for the planets of our solar system are arranged, thus symbolizing the reign of God over the whole universe. This pendant is made of copper and brass with a framing made of pewter.
