The snake was her sign and was placed as a symbol on the forehead of the pharaohs.

This pendant is made of pewter - it has been enhanced by adding a silver coating over the pewter core and was embellished with sparkling glass crystals. Pewter is a shiny, soft metal which is very malleable and has a good tarnish resistance. Artists and craftsmen used pewter quite early (dinnerware, sculptures, household articles, pewter figures, jewelry) and hence pewter jewelry has a long tradition.
