The pieces of this jewelry collection celebrate our Nordic ancestors that were known for their legendary delight in adventure, poetry and art. The design of this jewelry reflects the special style of these ancient people of Northern Europe: The star in the center of the pendant "Ring of Heavens" has been inspired by old Viking motives. Its eight spikes are symbolizing the eight Winds of the World blowing over the eight outer worlds of Nordic belief: Through this star in the center Muspelheim (the world of fire), Niflheim (the world of ice), Asgard (the heavenly upperworld), Hel (the dark underworld), Alfheim (the world of light), Svartálfaheimr (the world of shadows), Vanaheimr (the world of peace) and Jötunheimr (the world of destruction) are joined together. And straight in this center lies Midgard, the world of mankind, where everything is possible. According to Nordic belief this pendant improves leadership abilities and boosts progress in life.

This pendant is made of pewter embellished with silver and one glass crystal. Artists and craftsmen used pewter quite early (dinnerware, sculptures, household articles, pewter figures, jewelry) and hence pewter jewelry has a long tradition. After all pewter is a shiny, soft metal which is very malleable and has a good tarnish resistance. This piece of jewelry has been enhanced by adding a silver coating over the pewter core and was embellished with one prominent glass crystal.
