The jewelry in this set is made of pewter embellished with silver and gold and one glass crystal. Artists and craftsmen used pewter quite early (dinnerware, sculptures, household articles, pewter figures, jewelry) and hence pewter jewelry has a long tradition. Pewter is a shiny, soft metal which is very malleable and has a good tarnish resistance. This piece of jewelry has been enhanced by overlaying the pewter core with a silver coating and embellishing details of the design in gold - furthermore one prominent glass crystal was added.
