The royal House of Plantagenet originated in France and ruled England between 1155 and 1485. The unicorn is known in many parts of the world as a guardian as well as a symbol of wealth, luck and above all purity - and this old Celtic unicorn pendant is therefore said to have been worn by the family of Plantagenet to gain protection and wealth.

This pendant is made of polished pewter embellished with glass crystals. Artists and craftsmen used pewter quite early (dinnerware, sculptures, household articles, pewter figures, jewelry) and hence pewter jewelry has a long tradition.
