A foxtail chain is expertly designed by interweaving three rows of chain links together in a continuous pattern resembling the fullness of a foxtail. This rather rare type of chain therefore is a beautiful alternative to the more common snake chains: The chain is compact and flexibel at the same time and this especially fine chain is also small enough to be used with pendants with smaller bails.

This chain is made of Sterling Silver. Sterling is also called 925 Silver and consists of 92,5% silver and 7,5% other metals. Its name is derived from the Sterling coins that were used in Great Britain until 1920 and which consisted of exactly the same silver alloy.
